A translation of which is that I won't be able to resist buying my third Napoleonics ruleset!

I'm enjoying waterloo so far. Bearing in mind too that my review will be coming from a position of inexperience!Mickeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12456677287535785369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3295565583787846991.post-20230545847270825952011-10-13T23:10:34.045-07:002011-10-13T23:10:34.045-07:00Second edition of Lasalle is due soon. look forwar...Second edition of Lasalle is due soon. look forward to you Waterloo review its the first Warhammer historical book I have actually been tempted by...Minitrolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12922412141162967651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3295565583787846991.post-32660461505128171182011-09-27T02:17:16.004-07:002011-09-27T02:17:16.004-07:00The Naval battle game was Flying Colours. A friend of mine will be having his first game of flames with his Italy British army.

I will be bringing some Germans along and could bring another army if Garth wants a game.LintManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06405660787884869620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3295565583787846991.post-49295909086205952912011-09-26T16:12:03.471-07:002011-09-26T16:12:03.471-07:00Thanks man. I seem to remember reading about it in pdf a while back. I may look at picking it up over the summer, at which point we'll have four napoleonic rulesets to choose from!

Those were some great photos from your games over the weekend, it looked like a lot of fun! Unfortunately Garth couldn't make it; I shared your posts with him though so hopefully that will motivate him to jump on a train to upper hutt at some stage!

By the way, which rules were used for the naval battle in the photos?

In other news, my copy of Hellfire and back arrived yesterday, along with the first of my Commonwealth Rifle Platoons. Love the models, they're so characterful and dynamic compared to the earlier sculpts. Also there are a half dozen extra figs in the blister, so ill have enough to make my HQ pioneer section!Mickeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12456677287535785369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3295565583787846991.post-53529726749154041352011-09-25T20:18:35.299-07:002011-09-25T20:18:35.299-07:00We are using Lasalle here in Wellington. You can play a game and get a result in a reasonable amount of time.LintManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06405660787884869620noreply@blogger.com
